Ibrahim Olapade is a Senior Manager within the Audit team at Macalvins. He has more than 15 years of international audit experience gained across some of the profession’s leading firms.
Ibrahim began his audit career at Nexia SAB&T in Centurion, South Africa, spending over five years as an External Auditor with a focus on audit supervision.
He qualified as an ACCA member in 2014, before relocating to the UK, where he joined one of the Uk’s Big Four accountancy firms as an Auditor in Southampton.
He then went on to spend over six years as an Auditor at another of the UK’s Big Four practices, further deepening his technical expertise, before becoming a member of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) in 2019.
Ibrahim joined Macalvins in 2025, bringing this wealth of Big Four and international audit experience to the firm.
Ibrahim’s technical expertise spans external and internal audit, financial reporting and analysis and assurance, with strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and international accounting frameworks including GRAP, PFMA and MFMA. He is also SAP ERP certified as a Financial Accounting Consultant.
Widely respected by colleagues for his technical rigour, Ibrahim brings a genuinely global perspective to Macalvins’ audit function, having worked across South African, UK and internationally throughout his career.
