Having trained at a small practice in Ealing, Muntazir joined one of the top five accountancy firms where he progressed to Senior Audit Manager dealing with business of various sizes.
He later specialised in real estate and the construction sector. Muntazir joined Macalvins in 2020 where he continues to be excited about the world of finance and, in particular, enjoys providing tailor-made practical solutions to businesses of all sizes.
He has extensive experience advising start-up businesses on financial systems, internal control and risk management and supporting film and media clients on various business advisory matters including the claiming of film tax credits, submitting BFI applications and ensuring robust control and systems are put in put in place to meet rigorous industry compliance.
Between 2017 – 2020, Muntazir also held a number of voluntary positions including Assistant Treasurer for a charity which supports families in developing countries and provides shelter facilities for displaced communities.
Away from work, Muntazir enjoys football, cycling and working out. He recently took part in the London to Birmingham cycle event, which as a group raised over £30,000 for a charity that builds water wells for underprivileged villages in East Africa.
