You will be responsible for all aspects of credit control. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work closely with directors and teams to implement and manage an effective credit control function
for the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments
  • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors days
  • Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are documented and followed within the firm
  • Meet cash and debtor day targets set by the firm
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and regular reporting of debtor position
  • Regular communication with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
  • Confidence in handling disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by directors/managers
  • Undertake account reconciliations
  • Any other duties as delegated from time to time by directors and team managers

We are looking to recruit a graduate Trainee Accountant into our experienced and entrepreneurial team. We are offering a supported training package. This full-time role in both audit and general practice offers successful candidates exposure to a wide range of clients.

The role will include assistance in the preparation of statutory and management accounts and the associated tax compliance work as well as assisting on audit assignments for an array of clients.
